Privacy Notice
Short version: this site has no analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels, no chat widgets, and no forms. I don't sell or share your personal information.
Who runs this site
chasedunham.com is the personal portfolio of Chase Dunham. Questions about this notice: chase@chasedunham.com.
Information collected
- Server logs (hosting). The site is hosted by Netlify, which automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. I don't use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
- Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to download them, which shares your IP address and browser details with Google.
- Email. If you email me, I receive your email address and anything you choose to include, and use it only to reply.
I don't collect names, addresses, payment details, or any other personal information through the site itself.
Cookies
The public pages set no cookies. A few private project pages are password-protected; if you sign in to them, one strictly necessary cookie (finsprig_access) keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Sharing and selling
I don't sell or share personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. The only third parties that receive data are the service providers named above (Netlify and Google Fonts), as part of loading the site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because this site doesn't track you across sites or over time, there's nothing to switch off. It behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Links to other sites
This site links to profiles on Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Spotify, and GitHub. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices and rights
If you've emailed me and want to see, correct, or delete what you sent, email chase@chasedunham.com and I'll take care of it. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and you can use this same address to exercise them.
Changes
If this notice changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
